73 dart swinger wiper linkage

OK so Ive been fighting with this all day. I can get to the passenger side just fine, but the drivers side seems impossible. Has anyone done this that can offer any advice?

I pull the inst' panel. I've never seeked a different route.

What exactly are you having problems with?

Pull the instrument panel out slightly with the key on, turn the wiper motor on and unplug the switch right before the arm comes into the position where you get the most plier to it, remove the cluster, lube up the damn thing and put some nuts into it!

Well I figured it out. Hardest part was not being able to get to it. Now that the wipers are working look out state inspection, here I come. Thanks for all the help.

FYI they have use little plastic bushings, and the help containers have one in each one, but getting back mine only lasted a couple of months before coming lose again... I am going to use the mechanical linkage out of my 68 as it is never out in the rain with the spool
