'73 Dart to a '72 Demon Frontend Swap

I have a '73 Dart Sport and would like to swap the front end out to the better looking '72 Dart/Demon front end. Besides the obvious (fenders, hood, grille, lower valance, and bumper) what else will be needed from the '72 in order to do the conversion? Thanks!

Grille support, bumper brackets, tail panel and tail lights w/ mounting brackets.

If you are doing the whole thing, you'll need to change the interior over as well.

I won't be going for a 100% accurate conversion.... I just hate the pointed nose of a '73. I will replace the front and eventually replace the tail panel and lights since it is dented. The interior I can live with.

Well, I did alright but I wasn't able to buy everything to do the conversion. Not today at least. My friend told me about a very nice clean '72 4dr Dart that just arrived at a local junkyard.... By the time I got there this morning the car had ALREADY be picked over pretty well. I was able to get a pair of mint fenders, a decent front valance, light harness, and antenna all for a whopping $80! I wish that I could got there earlier. My friend said the car had a mint grille, hood, and bumper! Oh well, I'll find everything I need. Does anyone have any parts they would be interested in selling?

I wish I could help you out, I have a few front bumpers, but unfortunatly I'm way up in Canada.

Did you get the fender extentions? I don't see them in the pic's. You are going to need them too if you don't all ready have them.

I wish that I did... when I got to the car, this is all that was left (of what I would need). Now I need to try and find a pair of those too.

Yes it will bolt right on there. Changed a 75 Duster over to a 72 Demon. Went right on. The only thing was the bumper mounts are different. You will need to weld them on or drill some holes for the bolts. Other than that it was easy.

I've got a front bumper, in decent shape but will definitely need rechroming, cheap. I've also got a couple of '72 grilles. If interested, PM me.

Need the adapters that set the headlamps out from the body. The same piece was used from 70-72.

When you get the grille, try to get the pigtails for the turn signal/parking lamp. The 72 will not interchange with the 73, but they will plug up to the underhood harness with no problem. If you need a pair for the 72, PM me. I may have a spare pair. $20 would put them at your door.
