73 Duster deck lid torsion rods

Good morning FABO, I installed a rear gull wing and now my deck lid wont stay open.
I have to admit i have not crawled into my trunk yet to investigate but im assuming there is an adjustment that can be made to the torsion rods.
I know nothing about how to adjust these rods to accommodate the added weight of the wing and hardware. I would appreciate any help on how to adjust these rods so my trunk will stay open.

try to adjust the bars to maximum torque, if they’re not already

Pull the rods down one turn. Don't go to far or the lid pops up to fast and the weight bends the hinge up if you don't hold on.

I had to try different settings but it's easy. I did just the opposite when installing a Dart Lite rear deck lid. It weighs about 5+ lbs less because of the aluminum underside.
