73 electronic distributor oil leak

Hey guys i got a 73 electronic distributor and it leaks oil from the housing at first i though it was from the o-ring but it is not. theres a small little hole underneath where the adjusting tab is, can i just seal that hole up or is there a reason its there

Hang on man, if it's leaking there, I think you got other issues.
How bad is the blow-by situation? and is the PCV system working? Is the dipstick tight? Is the CC overfilled?
That hole is doing exactly what it it was designed to do, but it was never designed to be doing it full time. lol.

I’m a idiot, it wasn’t even leaking from there was the mechanical gauge copper line. Lol
