'73 Swinger here too. Mildly worked 318 with Holley 600 & a set of worked 302 heads with 1.88/1.60 valves, Hooker Headers & Flowmaster 40's on 2.25" duals. Trail, I love the way your painted grille looks, man. Good job.

I like the larger lug circle of the 73, but I don't likr the beak hood and grill.
Of the the swinger years, I like the front clip of the 70 and 71 best. I allso like that the 72 and earlier doors (with the vent windows can be placed onto the 72 and 73 bodies.

Perfect combo: 73 body with a 70-71 front clip, 70 or 71 rear marker lights, and 70-72 doors (with vent windows).

The doors can be put on any dart swinger from 70 till 76. I hope to one day have them on my 74 Swinger when it gets repainted later on down the road.

I know its not a 73 but heres my 74 Swinger

so i'm the only one to lose the beak?View attachment 1714551523

So far, I guess you are.
I actually wanted a 67-71 when I was looking but the BBP and power discs won me over.
I would love to find a 71 or so and swap fronts, especially since I need a right fender anyway.
There is a 70 about 12 miles from me with no engine or trans in it for sale for $2,000 but that more than I can spend on it.
(If I had the money for that I would part out the rest of the 70)

i lost the beak, power brakes,a/c,and that irritating buzzer that jeff still has lol.(me too on the chick thing)lol

here is the 1 i got for my son..:D:D:D
