I have a 70 duster 6 cyl car. I found a 73 4 dr valiant v8 manual disc brakes.
Question? I want to keep the 5x4 bolt pattern, can I use my front drum brake
hub on the 73 spindles, and buy 5x4 rotors. or is there a different way. Both vehicle have 7 1/4 rear ends so I can change the axles to give me the 5x4.

About the only safe way I can think of to keep your 4" bolt circle is to have the '73 rotors redrilled. I'm really not too sure that will work but your machinist can tell you. Just make sure they are drilled for 7/16" studs instead of 1/2". The drum hubs won't fit on the disc spindles even if you can find a rotor that will fit. Hope this helps.

If wheels are the reason you wish to keep the small pattern ,
you need to know now if those wheels will work with the 73 calipers.
Scarebird may be the easiest way to have small bolt pattern disc brakes.

So I guess I will be selling my anson sprint wheels with the 5 on 4 bolt pattern. unless someone has some of the same wheels with the 5 on 41/2, they would like to trade or sell.

the hub register on the 73+ disk may be too big for the wheel.

If you are looking for a set of SBP disks, I may have a set that are available.

I think Summit racing carries an Anson wheel with the 4½ inch bolt pattern. Don't know if it's the style you mentioned.
