Well it's taking me one year to get around to doing it but i finally committed myself to start. I have pretty much gutted the car, all that remains is the engine, drive train, glass, and some miscellaneous items in the dash and doors. once i get the rest of these things out hopefully in the next week its off to get soda blasted. I've been debating how extensive i should go but there is this little voice in the back of my head that is screaming go all out! I don't know if it will be all out but we will see how out my budget allows me to go. I am not going to be doing a restoration but it will be a frame up build and i am sure i will run into some things i will have questions on and i know i will be able to get the answers here. Oh yeah i forgot to mention i will be putting a 440 in this beast! I picked up a good block from some guy off of craigslist.com for $100 what a steal and i will soon be tearing that down and doing a complete overhaul all new guts. I am not quite sure what kind of top end it will get i was toying with supercharging it but couldn't find anyone that made this setup, and i don't know how practical it would be anyway. as always suggestions are welcome.

Thanks Jared

Good luck with the project, looks like there's good bones to go from. It goes without saying but I must, before you spend any more money on the Craig's list block - take everything out of it and have it checked for damage.
