I have a 74 duster origionally slant six car

more than likely you have (drum front brakes) which would make it small bolt pattern, (4 inch). If your duster came from the factory with disc brakes than it would probably have 4.5 inch bolt pattern.

If i remember right all chrysler cars had to have front discs by 76

cant remember the size of the rear drums

I know my /6 76 feather duster has drums in front with 4 inch bolt pattern.

The rear drum on a /6 7.25 car, should be....10.5"? Does that sound right?

I am usually drawn to 73' Darts Dusters and Dart Sports because of the:

Big Bolt Pattern
Electronic Ignition
and Single Piston Big Disc Brakes

basicly a bodys only having small bolt patern in disc brakes, ended in 72. They continues to have small bolt pattern 73 on up but you could upgrade to disc brakes and get the large bolt pattern. My 74 duster came from the factory with small bolt pattern as did my buddys 75 duster and 73 dart. All cars started getting electronic ignition in 72

disc brakes must of started being standard in 78 not 76 like i said before correct me if im wrong.

10.5 sounds right, all i can remember for sure is that the brake shoe surface is 2.5 inches

My '74 came with small 9 inch power drums on all 4 corners and had the small bolt pattern.

Maybe because it is a factory 318?

not necessarily. i had a 73 duster with a slant 6 and factory power disc brakes with bbp.
