My son just asked for my help on his 73 charger now that he has some heavy work done, love getting asked for my wisdom my two brothers gave me and I followed up on.

Roughed in the filler today and started sanding some of the original paint down. Won't be too much longer until time for primer and more sanding, yay (not)

I AM IMPRESSED! Most would have parted it out or scrapped it 'cause it's just a plain jane Duster. Glad you're saving it & fixing it.

I tossed around finding another car but I already know my issues with this one lol. Also cheaper to fix it than buy a roller these days.

Yup and now they're at least $5k even for a roller if you don't want one that needs a similar amount of work done to it lol.
 
Didn't really get much done, at least it don't feel like it but any progress is good progress lol. Got the primer sanded down, made a couple small patches for the rocker caps and started digging into the rot around the rear bumper.

@RustyRatRod thanks, mostly learning as I go. @varlo long time no talk, scamp is coming along good though. I dunno, you've done a ton of work on yours (some not so fun)
 
It ain't much but it needed done lol, got the rocker caps repaired and some new undercoat on em.

Hadn't really had much time to mess with it lately but was finally able to make a little progress today. Got the lower fender patched up and welded the other holes up on the fender (old emblems and turn signal). Hopefully have some time to work on the quarters tomorrow.

Got most of the quarters repaired today, still have to do the back corners and one small spot on the tail panel. Maybe next week.
