74 Swinger new member door hinge ?

Hi Guys,
Has anyone installed an S spring into a lower door hinge? Does the hinge need removal? Any special tools required? :banghead:

There's a member here who offers a complete rebuild service on door hinges. I can't remember his name, but if you search the forums for door hinge repair, you'll find him. He offers a good deal on parts that can't normally be purhcased anywhere either.

Dave, I have with the hinge removed....cant remember exactly how..I may have a spare hinge if need be, it might be easier to just replace the hinge...pm me if you need one. Welcome aboard!
