i came across this car for sale. it used to be owned by an elderly lady and has a little under 13000 miles on it. when i got it it had been sitting for 18 years and had a broken torsion bar.

had it towed home

tune up stuff

valve cover gaskets replaced

The vinyl top was half missing so i removed the rest of it.

a quick coat of paint to keep it from rusting

started work on the torsion bars

I didn't get a trunk key with the car so I had to fish my way in

The carb was sticking so we rebuilt it

Put on a set of Harley mirrors and a billet antenna

the car had been sitting for a long time and the spare tire well was rusted out so I decided to cut it out get rid of the gas tank and run a 12 gal fuel cell.

ended up moving

Got the carb put back on and my vacuum lines straightened out

I also lowered it 2"
And I got to drive it for the first time this past weekend.

there is a few small things left to do, the wipers don't work, and neither does the heat. plus replace a few bulbs, but I'm still stoked it is movable.

Nice find! should be a good driver once you fix all the little things. Doesn't look like you have any major rust to deal with.
