'75 Duster: Parking brake replacement handles sold on eBay

Just a heads-up. I purchased a repop parking brake handle from Ebay a few months back. Here is the email I sent today to the seller: It is a very nice looking piece. These handles however do NOT have the full width steel internal support or round steel sleeve that fits over the parking brake slider rod like the original Mopar part. Mine has cracked at the roll pin hole. The handle is not a safe piece to be selling. The handle design without the internal metal, is a problem waiting to happen! Please examine an original OEM part vs. the one you sell. This can be a dangerous situation for someone parking on a grade, or using the brake in an emergency situation.

The seller said this handle is for a 1974 Duster. So I guess the 1974 models did not have metal in the handle for strength.
