To the men who took part in D-Day (Operation Overlord).
There are no words to express the gratitude of what they did that day!
The young men forever young giving the ultimate sacrifice. The families they would never have
and the loved ones that where back home that would never see them again.
And the ones who made it home whose lives that where changed forever.

May we never forget!!

You are all Heroes! May God be with you!

I found this Celtic prayer by an unknown author I thought was appropriate.

Thanks for this post. My fathers army air corp 97th bomb group dropped some serious ordinance on the axis before, during & after
d day allied invasion. Luckily he made it home unlike many, many other hero's.
RIP pop.

We can never offer enough 'Thank You' to "The Greatest Generation" that gave up so much to maintain our way of life.

The shame is that today's young people have not been educated in school to know how much was given to allow them to enjoy all they do today. Todays school administrators should be ashamed for not providing this information. The lack of education by our current school curriculums are a crying shame.
