76 dodge d600 radiator

I have a 76 d600 with a 318 and I am in need of a radiator. Locally none of the parts stores can even look up a d600. Highest they go is a d300. Does anyone know if the d300 and d600 share the same radiator, or where to get one?

Have your radiator recored. You WILL be asking for trouble if you put a smaller radiator in it, just that simple. I have a D700 and wouldn't even think of putting one of my D300 radiators in it...

I looked at some information that shows the D600 radiator is a 25 X 22 unit, but I would measure. Even then, I would follow HemiSSDart's advice and use the biggest radiator i could find that would physically fit. I personally think that a 26 X 25 inch unit would probably be a better fit.

I looked it up in the '77 D-series truck FSM. It indicated that the type of radiator depends on the engine, not the truck model. In other words, a 440 in a D-600 takes the same radiator as a 440 in a D-300, and a 361 in a D-600 takes the same radiator as a 361 in a D-300.
