Got a couple of new PBs tonight. Was finally able to get the 2 step to work and build a little boost on the line and help my 60’.

Why the huge difference in mph? Did you turn it up for the second run?

That 6.71 was my first pass and the track was sketchy at about half track and I had to lift at one point and that killed the mph.

This was my first pass (6.71). Boost hit 15.3 towards the end of the run and I was able to build up to 2.6psi on the line before launch. You can see the dip in the graph where I had to lift cause the rear end got squirrly. There is a soft spot at launch where the tune goes really rich for a fraction of a second that I need to tune out but the rest of the tune is pretty close to my target AFRs. I also added a canister to the back pressure sensor that normalized those readings.

MAT/IATs are getting high (150F) as I add boost. I turned on my water/meth injection at 50% max duty cycle on my last run and it only knocked a couple of degrees off it. I think I’m at the point where I need to turn it on 100% as early as possible to cool down the intake charge and tune around it. It’s only going to get hotter and more humid around here. And I’ve still got some more boost available on this spring. I ran 75% duty cycle on the boost controller on the last run and hit about 17.5psi. 100% should get me to 20psi.

Nice mph! What rpm are you leaving at? I hope we see some 20psi runs soon! That turbo seems to really come alive after 15psi; at least on m my car.

I'm building about 2psi at 2500rpm sitting on the 2-step, when I launch, rpm flashes to about 3000.

New PB tonight. The ticket printer was working this time. The Dragy times are usually a bit generous on eta/mph but this should be more accurate. Haven’t looked at the logs on this one but I turned up the boost a bit. This was my third and last run of the evening.

So I hit 18.4psi on that last pass. That was with the boost duty cycle set to 85%. 100% would probably take me to 20psi but it was extremely hot/humid last night and I was a little concerned about IAT and didn't want to push my luck. I also raised my shift light from like 5700 to 5900rpm and was shifting around 6000rpms. I don't think it made much of a difference though. Boost back pressure looks good, 23.1 psi. AFRs were a little rich but this is the first time I've hit that part of the VE table so rich was expected until I can zero in on it.

My first run was a wash. Tune went lean and the ECU did its job and killed spark. This was my 2nd run of the night. “Runnin’ with the Devil” lol.

Nice ET pb! Are you ramping in boost by time/mph or just giving it everything? I have to assume your setup has significant 60ft gains to be had. What’s happening there?

Thanks. Def room for improvement on the 60’. Foot brake, 3.23 gears and coming off the line with only 2-3 pounds of boost is limiting. Boost is all in off the line. Our track is only mildly prepped for the first 20 feet or so, so it helps to try to hook in that space before getting out over the concrete and spinning. I’m happy with the rear suspension setup I built though. It hooks well and goes straight on drag radials. I think it could handle more power but I’m not ready for a Transbrake to make that happen.

What is launch rpm? I would’ve thought it could build more than 3lbs on the foot brake

Around 3k. 2-step kicks in around 2800rpm. I could probably build more boost but would have to stand on the 2 step for 30 seconds.
