Yes. Leave the brakes and all attached to the backing plate, and it will go right on the 8.75 housing.

You'll need to move and make new holes. I believe the register is different also. For some reason I remember there was a reason someone didn't do it.

To summarize;
From A-Body 8.25 LBP, to an A-body 8.75 SBP;
NO, the drums will not transfer...... even if you re-drill them cuz as stated, the registers are different. Nor will the wheels fit, because of said registers
Now;
If the 8.75 is from something else not an A-body, then yes.

whether or not the drums will rub on the backing plates, I cannot answer.
