[WANTED] 8 1/4 A body rear end

I want to change out to BBP on my 68 dart, need a 73-76 A body 8 1/4 rear end, some guys may want to give it away just to get the pile out of thier yard? I will have you ship it to Oakland, where my frieght forwarder will ship it to Hawaii- have done this with a couple members here, so I know how it goes. Prefer a west coastie if can?

How did I miss this? I went through the adds I thought! He says he won't ship, I hope he will change his mind sigh.

If I switch over to 8 3/4 from a local guy, I am paying so much for a super strong rear end that I really don't need. I mean, the local guy has a reasonable price and all, but damn, I just don't need an 8 3/4 for a couple grand for a four door /6 near stock dart LOL. If I do go 8/ 3/4, at least I can swap gears easily and get rear discs.

I have one with open 3.55 gears and rebuilt drums for $800. Needs new brake lines. In San Jose, CA.

If your 7 1/4 is good, check out Dr. Diff's new big bolt pattern axles for early 7 1/4 rear ends like is in your car. Might be a cheaper way to go for a car with a /6. Good luck to you.

OR can you have the flanges redrilled to BBP? Cheaper yet.....

This is new to me, thanks! This is by far the easiest set up so far- do you know which brake drums you use after this?

If what I read about the new axles is correct, you would use your existing brake drums, and just redrill them for 4 1/2-inch bolt pattern.
