I am doing a small block 360 swap in my Valiant and I need a rear end with a little more strength than my 7 1/4. I'd really want a 8 3/4 but they're so expensive, I'll take a 8 1/4 no problem. Located in 43920 Ohio. Preferably with brakes on it, but if not there is no problem.

I have a complete unit with 3.23 gears. It's disassembled because the housing was sent out for powder coating. Might be easier to ship apart? The powder coating by itself was 200 bucks. PM me if you are still looking....

I have a complete drum to drum 8.25 rear that I just took out of a 74 Duster. It's an open diff and it could use some new brake lines. Otherwise, it's complete and looks to be in decent shape.

I might be able to get it to Carlisle next month if you're going.

I used a 8.75 rear from a 66 coronet on my 74 duster. Its 1.5inches per side wider and i had to weld new spring perchs. This is a good swap as you get the strength of the better diff and maintain the big bolt pattern.
