i have a 73 8 1/4 i'm fixing to swap out 2:71 for 3:55 and i would really love to install a sure grip or a locker.. i searched new and a 27 spline locker is almost $500 new,but a 29 spline is only $300. not sure why 29 is cheaper.. maybe because they are newer. anyone got one laying around they not using they want to get rid of?
