Hey guys.

Just a quick question.

83/4 are near on impossible to
Find in the UK with out paying
Mega money.

How ever, I have been offered everything from
Prop back for a 8 1/4 with open diff for a very good
Price.

Came of a 72/73 dart I believe.

Don't know much about these type, was wondering if anyone can give me a
Few pro/cons between these and the 7.1/4 and 8.3/4

Currently using a 7.1/4 on the rear now, an been told these are no
Good for any mild v8 4 speed manual.

Worth changing over etc?
How capable are they power wise?
Can Play around with them at all?
Need any work to fit a 70 dart?

8.25 will be large bolt pattern. I think the open carrier with 321 gears are most common. Carriers for deeper gears and lock up can be found too. Difference in drive shaft length from 7.25 to 8.25 is 1.25 or 1.5 shorter, I forget.
