8.25 search

hi guys

going to be looking for an 8.25 diff. in the local juckyards. my question is what cars are good donor cars for this? my car is 69 a-body.

Yup, it's a bolt-in if you include the shock plates, u-bolts and a shorter driveshaft (or have yours shortened). As mentioned, the wheel bolt pattern is 4 1/2" instead of your existing 4" pattern so you'll need new wheels also.

if my driveshaft wont fit into my 88fifth i will sell it , its off my 75 dart 4 door, 8.25 my 88 has a 8.25 and a 4 door too, wheelbase is 111 and 111.7 if it wont fit going up for sale

Do they have small bolt pattern axles that will fit on the 8.25? Because thats what im running into on mine.

The 8 1/4 never came with small bolt pattern axles. You would either have to re drill and cut down the center hub on stock axles or have a set custom made.
