8.25 swap info

hi everyone,
few quick questions hopefully some one can help.
i have a 72 duster /6 w/9" drums.

i want to switch to discs, so im tackling the rear first. the engine and tranny are stayin for now. i want to swap the 7.25 for an 8.25 and have these questions:

1. will i need to get a new driveshaft when swapping to the 8.25?

2. i have 10" backing plates from a 69 charger 8.75 will they work on an 8.25 rear?

3.anyone wanna trade a 69 charger 8.75 housing with bbp axles and backing plates for a complete 8.25 ( i will add cash to the deal.)

drive shaft yes or just have it shorten backing plates not sure of , i think they will though .you will fine the drive shaft to be a couple inches to long . local drive shaft maker well shorten pretty reasonable ,new costly
