8 3/4 5X4 to 5X4.5

I have an 8 3/4 with a 5 on 4 bolt pattern, and was wondering if there is anyway to change it to a 5 on 4.5, without changing the axles?

Or if there is a link somewhere which might help me I would gladly appreciate it.

Would I need to take the axles out or could they do it while they are still in the unit?

I have the adapters, to go from 5 x4 to 4 1/2 its like a 1inch spacer. Id sell them but id hav to wait till I replaced my axles, you can find the same ones for pretty cheap. Only down side that's another inch of tire that could be used to get wider tires on the rear
