8 3/4" axel

Will an 8 3/4" axle E-body fit a plymouth duster? What modifications are necessary? Please advise.

Nope,it won,t fit..too long.Maybe post an ad in the parts wanted forums looking for A-body 8 3/4 axels.Lots of guys upgrade to aftermarket LBP axels.

To answer your question the way it was asked, yes, it will fit. You'll have to have the housing narrowed to the stock A body width and new spring perches installed in the proper places. After that, it will fit just fine. Neither of those two things cost a boatload to have done. You will need new housing ends that can be had for like 59 bucks and the spring perches for around the same. The Mopar Performance spring perches do not have the right size locating holes in them for the leaf spring bolts so I would use some from maybe Competition engineering.
