8 3/4 in Valaints?

Did any Valiants come from the factory with an 8 3/4? I've got a line on a supposed 8 3/4 that's in one. The guy says it has a removable carrier anyway. No other stock rear has a removable carrier, right?

Sure did. I owned a '67 Signet 2 door with a 3:55 Sure Grip 8 3/4" and the Commando 273 with a 4 speed. Wish I still had that car.
