I'm looking for a locking pawl for my 8 3/4 rear end. Mine walked away.

For the life of me I don't know what this locking pawl is.
Are you talking about the little metal tang that locates the wheel-bearing adjuster?

well if you can't find one you can simply safety wire it to whatever doesn't get in the way.
