I have collected parts. I have an e-body housing and axels and a 741 open w/ 3:23 gears. How do I find a reputable shop to turn this into aValint rear for me?

try the yellow pages....
is there a race track nearby so you can see who is narrowing other housing...
you want to narrow the housing to fit an A body?
are the axles A or E bodies....if E bodies...you can not shorten them....
and if you have to buy axles...you might want to narrow the rear an extra inch ..or so to help the tires fit better.

A lot of times a good independant exhaust shop can do that reasonably. they usually have all of the right tools. I have a friend who owns his own exhaust shop and he narrows housings also. You might try that.
