8 3/4 sure grip identification

I'm pretty sure this is not sure grip...wouldn't it have springs if it was? I'm pretty certain this is an 8 3/4 thou..

based on the stamping # it appears to be 8 3/4 from a b body..

Good case to have. Large Pinion. Not a sure grip though.

No on the springs. Only the cone style will you see spring. The clutch style just has a large cylindrical housing with large bolts opposite the ring gear.

Great, thanks for the help identifying...This was in the trunk of the Duster when I got it and I had put it into the shed & forgot about it!! Now I just need to find a housing to put it in!!!
