8.75 axle bearings

Ok I am sure that this has been on the site many times, but I have an 8.75 rear on a Dart. On my axle bearings they are the type that have the o-ring in the race of the bearing and the flat flange. All the bearings I see are the taper type with no o-ring. I think they used to make a repair adjuster kit for this type, but it is not available in my are ... so I am told.

But anyway can I still get the bearing type I have with the o-ring and the flange plate made onto the race? I know these are not adjustable but everything seems ok.

help-tips advise- :wave: please wanted.

The 5 bolt flange is part of the bearing? or is it seperate? The "green bearings" I have seen are non-adjustable but have the flange separate from the bearing. This type is quite easy to get.

OK it is part of the bearing. I do not recall if this is the green bearing or not. ?? why is it called the green bearing on that type. And is mine the green bearing or not? I put these in like 15 years ag+, just can not recall that long ago.

Those will work. Most (actually I haven't seen any that do) don't have the flange attached to the bearing but that won't matter. Those are replacement axles bearings. Rear end companies sell that style bearing also. Randy's Ring & Pinion, Strange, Moser etc.
