8.75 open end to sure grip?

i have a 73 duster with 8.75 open end rear end and want to change it to sure grip, can the gears or something inside my open end be changed to sure grip so i dont have to buy different center section? thanks by the way it is 323

Did you add the 8 3/4 to your 73? They came with 8 1/4's. If you do have a 8 3/4, all you need is to buy a Sure Grip and have someone install it.

All you have to do is have your ring gear taken off your open carrier and bolted on to a suregrip carrier then have the backlash setup, that's it.
