8.75 rear 489 and 742 case long island NY

489 case with 70k miles from c-body. factory set and not messed with. cone posi -- $300

742 case with 4-something gears and clutch posi. gear pattern looks good. 1 bolt on the carrier is visibly loose, this came with a car i purchase (in the rear) i dont know any of the history. i would inspect it before rebuilding, you might be able to just rebuild the carrier? who knows. $400

What are the ratio's? The ratio's are stamped on the ring gear. Also, the size of the U-joints?

sorry that would have been good to put in there...the 489 case is 2.76:1 the 742 case is 4-something:1

both have really nice gear mesh pattern.

not sure what size the yokes are, i usually replace them for the u-bolt style.
