I have an 8.75 in a 73 Dart. Rear wes narrowed, Backbraced,Etc. New 3.91 gears. New Moser axels. Cone type Suregrip. Rear was assembled by a reputable machine shop. The car is a roller. The problem is the Suregrip seems to be locked up. When we moved the car it rolls straight back and forward. but when turning wheels will not turn seperatly. one or the other just slides. Need HELP. Thanks, Al.

it may not have enough weight in it to let it slip. easier to slide than slip!

Got the center section at Carlisle last year. It was from a B body. The S G was replaced shortly before I got it. Looked like new. The machine shop also said that was a good unit. It sat foy roughly 6 months before I installed it. It sat dry Till it was installed and lubed. Would this create any problems?

Not to worry,It will be fine. sounds like you got a good one.
Just use limited slip additive before driving it even if you know or don't know if the gear oil in it has it or not.
