84 ram d350

Got a donor 84 ram d350. 360/727/d60. I keep reading that when I go to swap the oil pan for the center sump, this pan only fits 71-80 360 blocks. Is there a difference? I know they changed the main caps or something but isn't a 360 block a 360 block?

I'm not a 100%, but I believe as long as you use the center sump oil pick up along with the center sump pan that you shouldn't have a problem.

You need the non-Magnum 360 pass car pan (center sump). Magnums are different.
