Does anybody have any pics of the modifications made to the floor to accommodate the 8hp/90 trans? I am using the HDK trans mount setup so I know I have to cut the floor. Just curious if I need to get the USCT tunnel kit or I don't need that much. My concern with the USCT tunnel is that it will push out the location of the throttle pedal.
Thanks,
Bill

The 8HP70 install can be done with minimal tunnel mods using the Hemi Denny K and his transmission mount as well. His engine mount allows to move the engine forward. This approach requies removing many un needed porotrusion from the trans. My son is using the USCT tunnel on his 69 Barracuda. It's a Nice piece but huge and lots of cutting and welding. I want to retain the original console so the USCT route won't work for me.

The USCT tunnel will likely interfere with stock pedal but works with drive by wire pedal and USCT pedal bracket.

I will be using the HP90 trans which I understand is a bit larger than the 70. That 70 you have there looks tight in the factory tunnel. Does your son have any pics of the USCT setup installed? I may not have a choice with this bigger trans.
Thanks
Bill

My son is using a Tremec 6 speed. I didn't relaize the 8HP90 was physically larger. In any case I think it's wise to test fit before cutting. I've seen guys hack out a lot more than they really needed to.
