I bought a set of the Lakewood PN# 40101 90-10 shocks from a Florida member on here a couple of years ago. They were "like new" and fit fine but they act like the valving is backwards. The nose doesn't want to rise on acceleration and the nose dives on deccel. I even put in slant six torsion bars. Has anyone ever heard of a QC issue with these or a factory boo boo?

It does sound like the valving is bassackwards. They should pull apart easy and be very hard to collapse. Sounds like they are rear shocks. I use to use 30/70 shocks on the rear that operated opposite of the 90/10.
