90 degree adaper install

Does anyone know when installing adaper is the plate that the filter used to mate with removed from block?

Thanks for reply. Just re-read my post pretty vague I'm glad you got it. 90 degree oil filter adapter dah. I had been researching so much I just thought everyone knew what I was thinking lol.

Be sure to use a big copper washer between the bottom of the big bolt head and the top of the adapter, or it will probably leak. I ordered these from McMaster Carr. You need to enlarge the ID of the washer a smidge to get it to go over the bolt.
