I need a point in the right direction please... I haven't been able to narrow down the search filters.
Took delivery of a '65 Dart last week and know very little of it's mechanical history. I do know the Dart was built with a /6 and automatic transmission - according to the fender tag, this was a "low grade trim" car. Presently it has an V8 (It's in the LA family, but I know know the displacement yet), 904 trans, and I believe the stock 7.something" rear end.
Given the car was originally a /6 AT, what commonly was used for the stock transmission and rear gear ratio?
