As much as I hate to sell it (would have been alot of fun in my 68 Dart project), I want to get the darn thing on the road.
Up for sale is my ACC Street Bandit torque converter, pn 53053. It is for non-lockup 904 transmissions, and is rated at 3200-3600 stall speed, depending on your particular combo. It is set up to use the larger BB/hemi size 7/16 flexplate bolts. I bought it new a few years ago, and had it in my car for MAYBE 500 miles, probably no more than 200. I had wiped out a lobe so I never really got the chance to run it hard (stock bottom 360 with bolt ons). No marks from the seal no cracks. To be honest, it didn't slip as much as my previous converter, a Turbo Action 2900 stall, felt more efficient to me, and it stalled right about 3300 with the bad cam. All in all, a really nice converter for the money.
Summit gets $407 for this converter, I am asking $175 plus shipping. It is located in East Palestine, OH 44413.
