OK I need a good flex plate and coverter but not a $1000 dollar set up. She is an internally ballanced 340 calling for atleast a 2500 stall and turning around 400 horses. This should get the dart moving in the right direction.

Thanks Chad

Flexplates go for $50-$75 for a SFI rated one. Mopar Performance, B&M, etc, they all make them. You need to decide on a torque converter before you get you flexplate because it'll either be 5/16" or 7/16" flexplate to converter bolts. A decent converter will run about $300-$600 so you're talking maybe $700 max for a good street setup. I'd just go with the MP flexplate and maybe a T/A converter. I haven't bought a converter in a while so some of the other guys who've gotten one recently could probably give you a better idea on the quality of converters now days
