904 kick down linkage for 340 duster

Need three piece kick down linkage !

had to buy a set myself. As many folks have gone to Lokar cables and manual valve bodies, among the cars being scrapped and parted, you'd think these would be more common. However, they want a few dimes for a 318 2bbl kickdown linkage set up. I got mine from FABO for 35 bucks

The problem is a 904 never came behind a 340 from the factory that I am aware of. I could be wrong though.

I just got a setup from EBay for 50 dollars. It is a 66 part so it is different but will work with your engine. I only need one piece, the piece that goes to the carb. You can have the rest for 20.00.

I've seen a few small block 2bbl Kickdown linkages on e-bay but very few 4 bbl linkages. If you're just upgrading to a 4bbl and keeping the same transmission, you just need the rod between the the carb and the pivot point. The 4bbl rods have an outward bend (when looking from the front of the car) in them since the 4bbl carb is wider than the 2bbl carbs. Year One and a few other places sell new kickdown linkages (all three pieces plus pivot, spring, clips, etc) but they are not cheap ($350 to $410).

Thanks guys I'm jus gonna go with the lokar cable kit .seem to be common fix for this issue.
