904 parts interchandability /6 to v8 ?

I have two 1969 904 transmissions. The V8 one has a broken tailshaft housing and noisy plantatary's. The /6 one is all good. Can I build one good V8 one with the parts from the /6 one?

yes...the difference will be in the drums...the /6 will probably only have 3 disc in them where as the v8 904 should have 4...but the drivetrain part of the trans should be the same...
