904 to 727 shift linkage

Im swapping from a slant 6 904 to a 360 727 in my 69 dart. Can I keep the column shift when swapping the transmissiom or will I need new linkage? Thanks.

its been covered before, and no one seems to agree
I did it on a 71 and needed to make some adjustments, but it fit just fine

others have tried it and couldn't make it work
