904 transmission gear selector grommet-bushing?

Ok, where the auto trans. shift lever is there is a round hole- Some type of grommet goes in there. Whats it called? Where can you get one?

I think you're referring to the "shift selector seal".

You should be able to get one through Advance Auto parts, but if you want to be sure you get the correct one, A&A transmission can help. Bad thing is their shipping costs are high.

Column 74 Duster automatic 225. That thread showed it where the Trans control lever meets the rear rod. Grommet in there

Sounds like a parts store will have the Dorman #14041.
