904 weight?

can anyone tell me what a 904 will weigh? i need to do any estimate on shipping. thanks

I will try to throw my spare on a bathroom scale tonight. I'm guessing about 150 without converter, but that's just a guess.

Not sure how it stacks up to a 904 but this chart says 120 for a 727. http://www.bigblockdart.com/techpages/weight.shtml

a 904 is about 35 lbs less then a 727.....

I bet 90 lbs is a close estimate. Tossed a couple around this winter & I'm not known for the strength.

Well my guess was way off.

Anyway, I threw mine on the scale and got 129 lbs with stock converter (I think the fluid has been drained). Much lighter than I would have supposed from moving them around in the past. I guess the Wheaties paid off this morning.

The Wal-mart scale isn't exactly a precision instrument, but it can't be too far off.

I load in back of pickup by myself so I would guess 85-90 lbs without converter,Joe
