Does anybody have a late 80s early 90s New Yorker with the 4 banger in it?

What kind of gas mileage do you get from it?

If it has the 2.2L engine in it probably average around 27 or so. I have a sundance with a 2.2L 5 spd that gets about 27.5 mpg.

Cool... That's much better than the 12-14 I'm getting now. A friend has a neighbor who wants to unload it for $200. I'm going to look at it today.

Well, it turns out that a) it's not a '94 b) it's not a New Yorker and c) it's not a 4 cylinder.

It's a 90 LeBaron with the v6. It's loaded, though... Power everything, leather interior, cruise control, etc, etc. The paint is badly oxidised, but it runs great and the owner said he get's around 25 mph with it. Still $200 for it, but he doesn't want to give it up until the end of next week.

Yeah, those still get pretty good gas mileage and can also be pretty quick.

I had the same motor in my '91 Daytona, that thing was pretty quick.
