93 Jeep Wrangler Parasitic Drain

-
I remember seeing one of those modules in a car with a Clifford alarm. Can't remember what it did but I think it may have been connected to door switches

If that's it that makes sense because it is fused under dash. If the Jeep runs without it the cost of this repair just got better! Also if that's the case no wonder nothing in the wiring diagrams, but I haven't searched the internet much yet. Thanks to all who are reading and contributing to my post here, is helping keeping me going on this.

There is no passengers side door jamb switch, and the drivers side has no wires, but this could very well be a security device like you said and maybe it has a shorted diode. The only other switch that caught my eye was the glove box, which was broken at the hinge. I was concerned that it wasn't allowing the latch to make completely, and there was a switch in the box, but no light. I used JB weld to repair the hing to ensure the glove box switch was closed, just in case it fed the courtesy light I found by the drivers feet, I dunno. I should trace the fuse that fed this module and see where it's tied in, more light and readers needed to do that but will do it. Thanks again for everyone's help, I hope I got it.

I think you found it !!! LOL. That thing certainly does not look OEM

I sure hope so, the module was so far up above the steering column, out of sight out of mind. Also had one of those "mini" ATC fuses, don't know what you call them but definitely not a factory fuse. I was looking for the ECU when I spotted it so thanks twice for that suggestion. I forgot to hook up the damn positive cable though so it's not over yet, I hooked it up tonight at about 6, started it and let it run for awhile, a few revs and shut it down. Did NOT take a voltage reading.....DOH, will I ever learn. Will try starting it Thursday or so, that should be good.

IT'S ALIVE!!!! Last post and last chance to thank all that posted, Blown71Duster nailed it and 67Dart273 is awesome on the electrical, takes time to post a lot of info/schematics. Now I can ship this Jeep off to son with peace of mind it won't leave him stranded and also get working on my neglected Duster!!!
