A-500 tail shaft extension housing gasket

Hello, on a 99 durango the tailshaft housing gasket is leaking. can the tail shaft housing be removed and a new gasket installed like on a 727??????

yes...

the overdrive section can be removed from the trans while it is in the car...you will need to support the remainder of the trans that is in the car...
