Any guesses what the value is ?
A body 8 3/4 housing, axles,backing plates and drums.

IMHO
OEM A Body housing 500 to 1000
California Rust free, (not east coast rust free) add 100 to 200.
Backing plates (10x1.75) 25 to 50 each. Add 10 each for CA rust free
Axles 5x4" OEM 100 to 150 for the pair.
Drums... 50 to 100 each IF turnable within the factory size.

I agree with the prices mentioned elsewhere in this thread.
However, in the last 10 years, I've bought 5 of them and never paid more than $250 for a complete A body 8.75 with an open diff. The latest was about 2 years ago, here on Fabo - guy only wanted $100 drum to drum. Is a 3.23 sure grip out of a 68 Dart. Drums were toast, but found a pair of loaded backing plates with drums on Fabo for $60 shipped!
Again, prices mentioned throughout are fair, but the deals are out there if you are patient enough.
