A-Body Leaf Spring Questions

Hey guys, i need to know if the a-body leaf springs for a 340 have the same amount of leaf springs as the leaf springs for a 225, i have a 225 in my 71 demon now, but with the soon to be 340 i want to use the correct rear leaf springs for the 340 setup, so my question is, the leaf springs in it now have 5 leaves for the 225, did the leaf springs on the 340 cars have 5 leaves or 6 leaves and were they a different spring rate?

340 springs were totally different then the 6cyl springs.

They were 6, both sides. The standard 340 spring replacement (available from a Dodge dealer or on-line vendor), is the XHD spring. These are often have 5 but each is thicker.
