A-Body Rear

Does anyone know the flange to flange length of an empty A-Body rear without axles or brake backing plates?

an 8.75 rear should be about 52 1/2-52 5/8"

My 8 &3/4" measures 52&5/8" flange to flange .
Perches are 43" center to center.

Thanx fellas. I'm having a 9.25 narrowed to stock length with 8.75 ends. I don't need no stinkin' C-clips!
